We are pleased to announce the publication of a comprehensive training manual aimed at equipping workplace inspectors across the EU with the tools and knowledge needed to safeguard the rights of third-country nationals in the workplace, including those in vulnerable situations such as seasonal workers.

• A detailed review of key EU directives, including the Employer Sanctions Directive, Seasonal Workers Directive, and Single Permit Directive.
• Guidance on effective communication with migrant workers during inspections to build trust and address intercultural communication challenges.
• Practical advice on critical topics such as:
  • Providing accessible information.
  • Facilitating access to justice and complaints.
  • Identifying and referring cases of worker exploitation.
  • Securing back pay, compensation, and ensuring decent housing.
  • Supporting workers’ rights to change employers.

This manual is designed to empower workplace inspectors and trainers across Europe, enhancing protections for migrant workers and ensuring compliance with EU labour standards.
