Milieu is pleased to announce its role in preparing the 2026 update of the Handbook on European Law Relating to Asylum, Borders and Immigration.

First published in 2013 by the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights, the Handbook serves as a key resource for legal practitioners, offering a comprehensive overview of relevant laws and guidance on the application of Council of Europe and EU standards in these fields.

The Handbook was previously updated in 2014 and 2020 to reflect major legal and policy developments. Since the 2020 edition, significant changes—including the adoption of the Pact on Migration and Asylum—have reshaped the landscape of European law, making this new update both timely and essential.
