Milieu Supports Study on Regional Authorities’ Role in IPCEIs

Milieu Consulting is proud to announce its collaboration on a important study for the Committee of the Regions (CoR), examining the role and experiences of regional authorities in Important Projects of Common European Interest (IPCEIs).

IPCEIs are a vital EU instrument designed to drive innovation and industrial development, but many local and regional authorities encounter barriers to participation. This study seeks to address those challenges by identifying ways to enhance engagement and maximise the impact of IPCEIs on regional growth and development.

Through a combination of desk research, surveys, structured interviews, and case studies, the study will map key obstacles, showcase best practices, and provide actionable recommendations. The ultimate aim is to ensure that IPCEIs become more effective, inclusive, and accessible for all stakeholders. Milieu is proud to contribute to this important initiative, helping to shape the future of IPCEIs as a powerful catalyst for regional growth and strategic autonomy across the European Union.

Stay tuned for updates as we continue our work to support policymakers and stakeholders in advancing innovation and development across Europe.
