We are pleased to announce the release of the report “Accommodation and food service activities: issues and challenges related to labour mobility”. This report, co-authored by Milieu, the European Labour Authority, and Eftheia, provides a detailed exploration of the HORECA sector’s:

  • Economic significance and labour market dynamics
  • Recruitment practices and employment conditions
  • Enforcement challenges and information needs

The report integrates both quantitative and qualitative analyses, highlights good practices, and concludes with actionable recommendations to enhance the protection of workers, particularly mobile workers.
