Kayonzo Pommerenke

Kayonzo Pommerenke is a German professional, who joined Milieu in April 2025 in a hybrid role working on Business Development and EU policy research. He holds a dual master’s degree in “Business, Language and Culture/ International Management Studies” attained from the University of Southern Denmark and the European University of Flensburg. As part of the Business Development Team, Kayonzo is responsible for the end-to-end coordination of proposals for EU tenders from opportunity identification to consortium building, as well as the negotiation with partners and the submission of offers. Leveraging both his multidisciplinary foundation in social science research methodology and experience in the EU context, Kayonzo is conducting EU policy research across several disciplines such as OSH, Trade and Environmental Policy. Prior to joining Milieu, Kayonzo worked as a university research assistant in Work & Organisational Psychology, before carrying out a traineeship at the European Commission, where he supported internal consultancy and the coordination of a cross-DG operating entity. Kayonzo brings experience in working with high-level clients, as well as organising stakeholder events, facilitating workshops and supporting large EU Commission projects. During his studies, Kayonzo acted as president of the student parliament and representative in an EU-funded university alliance. Kayonzo is fluent in German and English and has a good understanding of Spanish and French.
