Tony Zamparutti

Tony Zamparutti has led numerous studies for European institutions and other clients on topics ranging from water resilience to environmental financing. He has managed and contributed to ex post policy evaluations of EU policies and legislation as well as ex ante impact assessments of legislative proposals. He has analysed EU spending under Cohesion Policy, the LIFE Programme and Horizon research funding programmes. He gained international experience as an official of the OECD Environment Directorate, where his work included assessments of environmental financing and donor country support for environmental projects in Eastern Europe. He contributed to several OECD Environmental Performance Reviews of member countries. He also worked as a freelance consultant in Italy, where he studied environmental conflicts and nature protection.
