Claire Dupont
Managing Director
Claire Dupont is a French national and has a Master’s Degree and Higher Diploma in Law. She started her professional career in Russia and then the UK, working on legal and policy projects for public and private sector clients. She joined Milieu in 2006. As Managing Director since 2019, she has been overseeing the company’s strategy, ensuring a client-centric approach, and plays a key role in shaping the company culture and maintaining a collaborative and inclusive team.
Working for more than 30 years as a legal consultant, Claire has gained an in-depth knowledge and practical understanding of international and European policy and legislation development and implementation. She is playing a key role in the provision of legal services within Milieu, mainly for EU clients. She directs numerous projects involving in-depth legal and policy analysis, and is also responsible for the quality assurance of key deliverables in these projects. Throughout the years, Claire has extended her expertise covering a variety of areas, such as justice and home affairs, employment, occupational health and safety, environment, energy and transport. She has a special interest in complex legal studies, notably linked to the identification of regulatory/policy options and comparative studies and has extensive experience in the review of EU legislation implementation by Member States, as well as enforcement and sanctions.
