Daria Dodescu

Daria joined Milieu in May 2025. She specialises in EU labour law and social affairs, with a particular focus on labour mobility. Her tasks include legal research, analysis of EU and national legislation and support to compliance and comparative assessments across Member States. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Bucharest and an LL.M. in European Union Law from the University of Amsterdam. Her academic background provides a solid foundation in EU law, particularly internal market and social policy rules. Before joining Milieu, Daria gained experience within the European Commission in the area of labour mobility and social policy, where she contributed to legal and policy analysis related to the posting of workers. She also worked in a legal consultancy setting, conducting research across EU labour and social legislation. She is a native Romanian speaker and is fluent in English.
