Fran Gallego Osorio

Fran Gallego Osorio, is a Spanish national working at Milieu as a researcher since 2024. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in economics from the Universitat de Valencia and a Master’s in Policy Economics from the Erasmus School of Economics, where he specialised in quantitative and qualitative analysis in areas such as social economy, social justice, economic development, and migration. At Milieu, his work involves research, data collection, stakeholder engagement, and communication support, as well as assisting with deliverables, proposals, and client coordination. Fran has contributed to several EU-funded projects, conducting MS-level research through case studies, including: the role of local authorities in integrating unaccompanied migrant minors in the Canary Islands (Spain), a study on the proposed equal treatment directive for the EPRS, the use of traditional herbal products (HVMPs) in veterinary medicine at EU and MS-level, and the revision of the transposition of recent OSH Directives by Member States. Prior to joining Milieu, he gained experience at the Finnova Foundation, working on European sustainable and cultural tourism projects. Fran is fluent in Spanish, English, and Catalan, with a basic understanding of French.
