Giacomo Saderi

Giacomo Saderi is an Italian professional who has been working in the Business Development team at Milieu since 2024, where he contributes to the preparation and coordination of EU calls and tenders across a wide range of policy areas, including environment, circular economy, energy, financial services, justice and human rights, public health, social policy and employment.
He holds a Master’s degree in Languages and Cultures for International Cooperation and a Bachelor’s degree in Modern Languages from the University of Milan. During his academic studies, he was awarded the Erasmus+ scholarship twice, completing exchange programmes at the University of Bristol (UK) and the Higher School of Economics in Moscow (Russia).
Giacomo began his career with international projects at the Italian Trade Agency (ITA), supporting internationalisation initiatives for SMEs, including the organisation of training programmes for export managers. He subsequently worked as a Project Manager at an international development consulting firm in Milan, where he supported procurement, coordination and reporting for projects financed by EU instruments as well as the World Bank, with a strong regional focus on the Western Balkans.
He has developed a broad understanding of EU tendering procedures, including administrative compliance, consortium building, expert recruitment, negotiation of fees, and the drafting and review of technical and financial proposals.
Giacomo is fluent in Italian and English, with a good working knowledge of French and Russian.
