Marco Paron Trivellato

Marco Paron Trivellato joined Milieu in 2022 and contributes to legal and policy analysis in the fields of EU employment and Justice and Home Affairs policy. His core areas of expertise include EU labour migration policies, EU labour law, occupational safety and health, intra-EU labour mobility and the coordination of social security systems, including issues related to their enforcement across Member States. He also has expertise in EU transport law. Marco’s work is grounded in a strong background in EU law and combines legal analysis with policy-oriented research. He has particular expertise in the design and implementation of qualitative research methodologies, complemented by a working knowledge of quantitative research methods. At Milieu, Marco contributes to a wide range of studies for the European Commission and the European Labour Authority, as well as NGOs and trade unions. His work includes the coordination of multi-country legal and policy studies, as well as contributions to evaluations and impact assessments. Marco holds a Master’s Degree in Law from the University of Trieste, with a focus on EU and international law, and a specialised Master’s in EU Interdisciplinary Studies from the Université libre de Bruxelles, where he specialised in EU migration and asylum law. He is a native Italian speaker and is proficient in English, with working knowledge of French.
